Joel Meyerowitz
The exhibition, curated by Karin Rehn Kaufmann, art director of Leica Galleries International, with the adaptation of Denis Curti and Maurizio Beucci, presents fifty photographs covering the most decisive periods of his career, taken in different countries and in many cities.
From images captured on the streets of New York, the perfect setting for observing the vicissitudes of the diverse humanity that populates the great city, to those taken during a year-long trip through Europe between 1966 and 1967. From those taken in Paris, including one depicting the scene of a man fainting in the almost total indifference of the people around him, to the Spanish landscapes captured through the filter of the glass of the speeding car; from Naples to Malaga, from Ireland to Bulgaria, to Germany, to the series of London and the United Kingdom.
