Milano Design Film Festival 2021

The Festival that since 2013 has brought more than 800 films dedicated to contemporary design and architecture to Milan returns with a phygital edition. More than 50 titles including documentaries, investigations, biopics, fiction and animated films, guest curators – Gianandrea Barreca, Giovanni La Varra, while the duo Formafantasma (Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin) curated the Bloom section.

The festival will kick off at the Triennale di Milano with the world premiere of the film “The importance of being an architect” which, through the eyes of Antonio Citterio, one of the most famous Italian designers on the international scene, and Patricia Viel, co-founders of the Milanese architecture studio ACPV, explores a new vision of design in the architecture of tomorrow.
