Premiata Ditta

The artistic duo Premiata Ditta (Anna Stuart Tovini and Vincenzo Chiarandà) presents sixteen new works, the result of work carried out between April and June 2021, in which the artists involved the inhabitants of Milan’s Zone 3 neighbourhoods. Initiating a dialogue with the people, seeking their complicity and following their advice, the artistic duo were guided in their choice of different doors on which to place large sheets of paper to transfer the traces of wood, locks or irons beaten with large dark pencils. The result of these actions are frottages: drawings/prints that also allow us to perceive the three-dimensionality of the doors.
