An exhibition dedicated to the artistic movement Realismo Magico (Magic Realism), a fundamental strand of Italian painting between the 1920s and 1930s. The Realismo Magico group transposes into painting the climate of instability and unease that characterized Italian society between the two world wars. The protagonists of this season are the works of Felice Casorati, Giorgio de Chirico, Carlo Carrà, and Gino Severini.
Cagnaccio di San Pietro, Dopo l'orgia, 1928. Realismo Magico, at Palazzo Reale.
