Small and Large Architectures
A lecture by Alberto Ferlenga, an architect, former rector of the Iuav University in Venice, and curator of the latest exhibition on Rossi at the MAXXI museum in Rome, addresses the theme of ‘indifference to scale’ typical of Aldo Rossi’s radical design approach and the attention to contexts. The starting point will be the architect’s training in post-war Italy surrounded by that Milanese architectural environment in which ideology, art and design are continually intertwined.
This event is part of the public program of the Museo del Novecento to explore the themes of the exhibition “Aldo Rossi. Design 1960-1997”, open until 2 October.
