The Objects of the Architect

A lecture by Domitilla Dardi, Senior Curator for Design at the MAXXI museum in Rome, on how the relationship between design and architecture has always been very strong in Italian design culture. In the case of Aldo Rossi in particular, it is evident how the architectural vision is always fundamental in his design of objects and furniture, especially through constant work on the concepts of typology, and archetype.

This event is part of the public program of the Museo del Novecento to explore the themes of the exhibition “Aldo Rossi. Design 1960-1997”, open until 2 October.
