The Shell is a documentary film that explores what it means to inhabit a human body and experience physical pain. It premiered in Los Angeles in October 2020 and won an outstanding documentary film award at the Luis Bunuel Memorial Awards, organized by the L’Age d’Or International Art-house Film Festival. It was also selected for the Prisma Independent Film Awards in 2020.
The screening and Q&A with aperitivo at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema will be the first screening of the film in Italy, and an opportunity to engage directly with director Xav Langton.
The film will be presented in English with Italian subtitles.
