Vanni Cuoghi (Genoa, Italy, 1966). His works refer to the precious illustrations of the past. Characters and details from fairytale worlds. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and around the world including “Maestri di Brera”(2008) at the Liu-Haisu Museum in Shanghai and the St. Petersburg Biennale. In 2009 he participated, with the group Italian Newbrow, in the Prague Biennale curated by Giancarlo Politi and Ivan Quaroni. In 2011 he represented Italy at the 54th Venice Biennale at the Italian Pavilion.

Nel 2009 partecipa, con il gruppo Italian Newbrow, alla Biennale di Praga a cura di Giancarlo Politi e Ivan Quaroni. Nel 2011 ha rappresentato l’Italia alla cinquantaquattresima edizione Biennale di Venezia al Padiglione Italia.
